Residents Invited to Chairwoman's Listening Session
New Milwaukee County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic will hear from residents in the southern part of the county on June 6.

The southern Milwaukee County area is the site of new County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic's first "Chat with the Chair" listening session.
The listening session will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. June 6 at Franklin City Hall, 9229 W. Loomis Road.
Dimitrijevic has said she will hold a session in each of the county's 19 municipalities in an effort to improve communication between suburban communities and county government.

"We are making a sincere effort to unify Milwaukee County. A key part of this effort is holding listening sessions in all 19 cities and villages in Milwaukee County," Dimitrijevic said in a news release. "I have held more than 140 town hall meetings in my district since I was first elected in 2004, and I look forward to continuing these meetings all across Milwaukee County."
County Supervisor Steve Taylor, who represents most of Oak Creek on the county board, said he was happy his district was picked to host the first one.

"I am pleased that Chairwoman Dimitrijevic has chosen the city of Franklin for her first 'Chat with the Chair,'" he said. "I am committed to ensuring that suburban communities are appropriately represented on the county level."
