Student Wants Drivers To Be Safer Around Cedar Hills
According to police, the student told police that many drivers were going through the stop sign at W. Sycamore Ave.

OAK CREEK, WI — A concerned elementary school student in Oak Creek told police that too many drivers were ignoring a stop sign outside their school, creating a dangerous situation.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers received a call from a Cedar Hills Elementary School student at just after 11 a.m. on Sept. 17.
According to police, the student told police that many drivers were going through the stop sign at W. Sycamore Ave. and S. 24th Street right outside school grounds.

The student asked police for extra traffic enforcement between 7:45 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. during school mornings, and between 2:55 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. during school dismissal times.
Police considered additional traffic enforcement, according to call logs.
