Tri City Bank Robbed; Police Searching For Suspect

Suspect wore a white surgical mask and passed a note to a teller demanding money about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Oak Creek police are looking for a suspect who on Wednesday night robbed , inside the Pick 'n Save at 2320 W. Ryan Road.

According to the department logbook, a man with a white surgical mask over his face entered the bank about 5:30 p.m. and passed a note demanding money and implying a gun. He put money in his pockets and exited the store.

A dye pack inserted with the money possibly exploded. Police recovered the suspect's jeans on Ryan Road and they had red stains from the dye pack, police said.

The suspect was described as 45-60 years old, gray hair, between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6, 200 to 250 pounds and wearing a bright blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and a tan baseball cap.
