Trial Set For Accused Oak Creek Sex Offender

James Allen Batovsky could spend life in prison.

A jury trial will begin April 23 for an Oak Creek resident facing 11 felony counts of child pornography possession.

James Allen Batovsky, 39, could go back to prison for the rest of his life depending on the outcome. He was charged after Oak Creek police went to his home in the 1100 block of W. York St. last year and depicting pre-pubescent and pubescent boys in sexual acts or posing in provocative ways.

Batovsky was previously convicted of possession of child pornography and exhibition of child pornography in 2005. He spent one year in prison and one year on extended supervision.

If convicted of the latest charges, he faces up to 275 years in prison and $1.1 million in fines.
