Brandon Hennes has already applied his coursework to issues like affordable housing, zoning updates, and long-term growth strategies, aiming to build trust and stability for Omro’s future.

• Lawmaker strips 'catch kit' provision from abortion pill legislation (greenbaypressgazette.com) — Omro’s state representative, Nate Gustafson, has rewritten his abortion-pill bill so it no longer requires doctors to send patients home with controversial “catch kits,” instead targeting drug manufacturers for environmental impacts. The proposal remains part of a broader, politically charged debate over abortion and water quality in Wisconsin, drawing sharp criticism from Democrats and attention from anti-abortion groups nationwide.
