Check Out Port's Summer Live Music Lineup

Freeport Music, Port Washington’s FREE live music summer concert series, is excited to announce our line-up of Friday night National Act shows for 2012!Β  We will be showcasing some very diverse and exciting national acts for this summer’s four Friday night concerts at the Bandshell in Veteran’s Memorial Park on the lakefront in Downtown Port Washington!

The musical styles of our entertainers for Freeport Music this year will cover a wide variety of music genres including Rock, Pop, Blues, Country, Folk and American Roots.Β  And, the National Acts that make up the diverse schedule for the four Friday night concerts come to us from locations across the country including Chicago, Boston, Mobile, AL and Minneapolis.Β  Bring a blanket or a chair and a cooler if you like and come down and enjoy the FREE shows!Β  This is a great opportunity to see high quality entertainment right here in your own backyard!

  • THE MODERN ELDORADOS (Rockabilly / Country from Mobile, AL), August 3, www.themoderneldorados.com, with special guest, Bob Mittnacht and The Crowning Glories
  • THE HONEYDOGS (Minneapolis Pop Rock): August 24, www.honeydogs.com, with special guest, Letter 8

The Freeport Music concerts, presented by the Port Washington Tourism Council and Port Washington State Bank, begin at 7 PM each night with a local area opening act followed by the national headliner under the lights at 8:30 PM.Β  There is a variety of food, soft drinks and beer and wine choices available for purchase at the concerts from local restaurants and community service groups including the Port Washington Yacht Club and GALS who have supplied fine eats for Freeport Music since its inception.
