Though Beanies Mexican Restaurant already makes its guacamole fresh every day, chef Tamica Rios said the decision to add a tableside option was made to add a little more fun for the customer.
"It's a really good show for the customer," Rios said, adding that kids at tables who order the menu item often help with smashing and mixing the dip.
The restaurant added the table-side guacamole about three months ago, Rios said, at a price of $8.99 — which includes all the chips you can eat.
