Bethel and Mike Metz will open up their yard for visitors to get up close and personal with their beehive.
The event will take place at their house, located at 136 E. Van Buren St., weather permitting.
"You can get as close as you feel comfortable (or in some cases, as far away), ask us questions, and get more educated about urban beekeeping and our bee hive in particular," Bethel said.
