The Ozaukee Community Awareness Forum (OCAF) and PortFish, Ltd. will sponsor the 5th Annual Sustainability Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the at 131 N. Webster St. in Port Washington.
The theme of this year’s fair will be "To Bee or not to Bee" —focusing on the plight of the honey bee population, beekeeping and local honey producers, as well as a broader focus on local food production and water and energy conservation.
Local author, Deb Baker (aka Hannah Reed) will open the Fair with a reading from her latest novel in the Queen Bee Mystery Series, Plan Bee, at 10 a.m.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Charlie Koenen, maker of Beepod Hives, who will give a half hour "Beesentation" at 10:30 a.m. Beyond speakers, the fair will feature a variety of informational exhibitors, including local CSA’s, Community Gardens, locally produced honey, live music, a silent auction, a children’s table, a snack shop and more!The Sustainability Fair is free and open to the public!
