The Ozaukee Community Awareness Forum (OCAF) and PortFish, Ltd. will sponsor the 5th Annual Sustainability Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.Β Saturday, May 19, at the at 131 N. Webster St. in Port Washington. Β
The theme of this yearβs fair will be "To Bee or notΒ to Bee" βfocusing on the plight of the honey bee population, beekeeping and local honey producers, asΒ well as a broader focus on local food production and water and energy conservation.
Local author, Deb Baker (aka Hannah Reed) will open the Fair with a reading from her latestΒ novel in the Queen Bee Mystery Series, Plan Bee, at 10 a.m.

Β This yearβs keynote speaker will be CharlieΒ Koenen, maker of Beepod Hives, who will give a half hour "Beesentation" at 10:30 a.m. Β BeyondΒ speakers, the fair will feature a variety of informational exhibitors, including local CSAβs, CommunityΒ Gardens, locally produced honey, live music, a silent auction, a childrenβs table, a snack shop and more!The Sustainability Fair is free and open to the public! Β
