Have You Seen This: Kayaker Tries Out Boat While Upside Down

Thanks to smart phones and the cultural phenomenon of YouTube, everyone is a video director and producer. And with a little digging, you can craft an entertaining look at your community as residents and tourists see it.

Take a few minutes to browse these Port Washington and Saukville related videos uploaded over the summer.

But it gets better: user kcbraband uploaded a video of a couple kayakers attempting to kayak upside-down. This is not a joke.

In July, user ercelfish00 uploaded a video showing off his catch while fishing from a kayak. Then, in August, user gunner7632 uploaded this video of two 11-year-olds battled a 17-pound king salmon while fishing off a boat in Lake Michigan.

Nearing the end of the outdoor music season, Paul Dempsey and his band played live in Port Washington about two weeks ago, with the video uploaded by pauldempseymusic.

And, finally, check out this video from mpmaher23, of a little one learning the ropes as she climbs to the top of the equipment at Possibility Playground. Ah, those bittersweet, summer memories.
