Port M&I Branch Closed for Good at End of Business Day

The M&I branch in Port Washington, 120 E. Washington St., will be closing its doors for the last time at the end of the business day Friday.

A sign announcing the branch's closing directs customers to locations in Saukville, , or Cedarburg, W62N209 Washington Ave.

"We look forward to serving our clients at our full-service Saukville office (2.5 miles from the Port Washington location), and pledge to continue the same high level of dedicated customer service at whichever M&I location our customers find most convenient," Sara Schmitz, assistant vice president of public relations for M&I, had said of the closing when it was announced earlier this year.

The Port Washington branch will maintain a 24-hour, drive-thru ATM, which is only capable of withdraw transactions.
