Red Fusion Business Moving Out of Port

The technology company will now operate out of Milwaukee's 3rd Ward.

After just a few years calling Port Washington it's home, Red Fusion Studios has decided to leave the city for a Milwaukee location.

The company will lease a building in Milwaukee's 3rd Ward, according to an article on Bizjournals.com. The move means 10 jobs will be created in Milwaukee, and the company has plans to add more in the coming year.

Red Fusion Studios currently occupies the attic space on the third floor of the former Lueptow’s Furniture Store building. The company, which originated in the Chicago area in 1997, develops new products for businesses all over the United States. The company’s founder, Mike Pelland decided to open a branch in the Ozaukee County area and eventually settled on Port Washington.

The company's announcement of its plan to move comes just a few months after Port native Daniel Ewig purchased the former furniture buildings. The bulding is currently undergoing renovations.
