Crime Time: Daycare Burglarized, Motorcycle Theft, Bicycle Thefts
A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

Only $5 was taken, when the daycare facility, at 4019 N. Farwell Ave., was burglarized Tuesday. However, there was around $1,600 in damage caused after several offices were broken into using a pry tool.
Also in the police report:
- A 14-year-old Shorewood boy was arrested Wednesday in connection with a stolen blue Suzuki motorcycle. Oak Creek police asked Shorewood police to look for the stolen bike in the 4100 block of North Murray Avenue and officers found it in a nearby garage. The owner of the motorcyle told police it was stolen after it was taken on a test drive, and never returned.
- A Black and Decker lawnmower was reported stolen overnight on Wednesday from an unlocked garage in the 4300 block of North Marlborough Drive.
- A girl’s white Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen Sunday from the side of a home in the 4100 block of North Murray Avenue. Police aren’t sure how much the bike is worth.
- A woman was confronted Sunday by an employee at , 4145 N. Oakland Ave., who saw her conceal a bottle of Absolute vodka. The woman handed over the liquor and fled the store before police could arrive.
- A $700 Gary Fisher bicycle was reported stolen Saturday from the backyard of a home in the 4200 block of North Woodburn Place.
- A $200 tan Coach purse was reported stolen Saturday from the deck railing of a home in the 2000 block of East Menlo Boulevard.
- A $250 glass lawn decoration was reported stolen Saturday from the front yard of a home in the 2600 block of East Jarvis Street.
