• Shorewood staff say pay increase makes 'teachers pay for teachers' (jsonline.com) — Shorewood teachers and aides are getting pay increases next school year, but their union says the School Board is using cost-of-living funds to prop up the salary schedule, shortchanging long-time staff. Educators from Shorewood High School argue this approach especially hurts the most experienced and highly educated teachers, and they plan to keep pressing the board at future meetings.
