Jackie Brown and the Boys to Rock Shorewood Thursday
With their mix of adult alternative and old country, the Milwaukee-based band plans to jam in Shorewood's Hubbard Park.

Jackie Brown, along with the Boys, will rock the stage Thursday night with their mix of adult alternative and old country.
The group will play Shorewood's venue along the Milwaukee River at 6:30 p.m.
"It's really a unique mix of music," band manager Al Sikora said.

Group leader and vocalist Jackie Brown and a group of instrumentalists continue .
"Jackie has a real powerhouse voice, she is a phenomenal singer," Sikora said.

"How about a female vocalist that can belt out Janis Joplin effortlessly," the group's website asks.
The group also includes two-time Wisconsin Area Music Industry award-winning flutist Duane McCarthy.
Sikora added the group enjoys outdoor venues like Hubbard Park.
The staff of Shorewood Patch and Whitefish Bay will be on hand before the concert to greet our readers and hand out free goodies to concert-goers.
