Man Who Overdosed in Funeral Director's Home Released on Bond
Cops were called when 22-year-old Muskego man overdosed in Shorewood home.

The Muskego man charged with felony possession of heroin after , made his initial appearance in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday.
Anthony Vitrano, 22, was released on a $1,000 signature bond and ordered to have no contact with Feerick, who owns Feerick Funeral Home at 2025 E. Capitol Dr.
Feerick, 52, is expected in court for an initial appearance Aug. 19 to face charges of possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, in connection with the February incident.

Feerick was charged June 9 after police say they found a host of drugs and drug paraphernalia in Feerick’s home at 4322 N. Wildwood Ave., after receiving a report that Vitrano had overdosed, according to a criminal complaint.
After a search of Feerick’s home, police say they recovered several pipes used to smoke marijuana, a metal bottle containing traces of cocaine, a pill bottle containing marijuana, bottles containing prescription narcotic pills Oxycodone and Diazepam, one empty syringe and one syringe filled with heroin.

Police also recovered text messages between and Vitrano and Feerick that referred to obtaining Oxycodone pills for a good price.
Feerick told Shorewood Patch in an earlier interview that none of the drugs found at his residence were his and that he was simply trying to get Vitrano to check into a hospital and seek help for his drug addiction. He said he also expects the charges to be dropped.
Vitrano is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 26.
