New Outdoor Mural And Grand Opening Announced For Brew Fitness
Brew Fitness, a new studio that conjoins beer and workouts for community benefit, announced its grand opening. A new mural is coming, too.
SHOREWOOD, WI — The grand opening preview event for Brew Fitness' Shorewood location, a studio that allows its patrons to grab a beer from the front desk after each work out, has been scheduled for Saturday, the business owner told Patch.
A preview event for people to come grab a beer, see the space and have a chat is planned for Saturday.
The preview party and street festival will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday.

The event is also an opportunity to celebrate the four year anniversary of Brew Fitness' original location in Milwaukee. A mini street festival will come to the area for the preview event with drinks from Westallion Brewing, cold treats from Pete's Pops and food from other local vendors, according to a Brew Fitness newsletter.
The street festival will include free food and music, according to Ryan Mleziva, owner of Brew Fitness.

After the street festival in Shorewood, the party will move to MobCraft Brewing in Walkers Point to celebrate the four year anniversary of the Brew Fitness brand, Mleziva said.
The studio will open up for courses on July 25. The preview event this Saturday will also be the final day to take advantage of an introductory membership offer — Anyone can get their first month at Brew Fitness for $1, according to the newsletter.
As Brew Fitness opens its Shorewood location, the second one in Milwaukee overall, a new mural has also been planned. The mural will take up the entire bottom half of the building's north side where the Brew Fitness entrance is located, Mleziva told Patch.
Entitled "Do What Makes You Happy," the mural will be painted by local artist Fred Kaems. The mural was commissioned by Brew Fitness to echo the studio's values of inclusion and acceptance, Mleziva told Patch.
"Hopefully it sparks a positive mindset to everyone who sees it, especially when entering and leaving Brew Fitness," Mleziva said.
One of Fred Kaems' recent murals posted on Instagram is seen below.
More details about the Brew Fitness mural are to come, according to Mleziva, but what is planned will be "fun and bright."
Brew Fitness is located at 3514 North Oakland Avenue in Shorewood.
MobCraft Brewing is located at 505 5th Street in Walkers Point, Milwaukee.
