Police Report: Milwaukee Man Arrested for Shoplifting $61 Worth of Axe Body Wash

A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving Tuesday after police pulled him over for driving with suspended license plates.
Police stopped the man in the 6100 block of East Olive Street at about 11:47 p.m. and say he smelled of alcohol. He failed a field sobriety test and had a .13 blood alcohol level.
It’s his first operating while intoxicated offense.

On Sunday, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man was pulled over for speeding and failing to move over for a stopped emergency vehicle and later arrested for drunken driving.
Police say he was stopped near the intersection of East Capitol Drive and North Fratney Street in Milwaukee around midnight, where he failed a field sobriety test and later found to have a .20 blood alcohol level.

It’s his first drunken driving offense.

- Police arrested a 57-year-old Milwaukee man after he walked out of , 4081 N. Oakland Ave., with $61 worth of body wash concealed under his shirt. Police say they caught up with him in the 4000 block North Bartlett Avenue after receiving a report of the theft. The suspect told police he planned to resell the nine bottles of Axe Body Wash he allegedly stole at a convenience store in Milwaukee.
- Security at told police an unknown man removed two packs of Gillette razors from the shelf and left the store at 4145 N. Oakland Ave. without paying. The items are valued at $16. Police have no suspects.
- Police say a car filled up with $49 worth of gas at , 2521 E. Capitol Dr., and drove off without paying. Police haven’t been able to locate the driver.
