Police Report: Milwaukee Woman Arrested for Trying to Obtain Narcotics with Forged Prescription

A 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested Monday after attempting to pick up 90 Oxycodone pills with a fraudulent prescription.

Police say a pharmacist at , 3512 N. Oakland Ave., became suspicious of prescription because the prescribing doctor typically doesn’t prescribe the narcotic.

  • Shorewood police recovered a stolen 1995 Chevrolet Lumina Monday in the 3800 block of North Oakland Avenue, originally reported stolen by Milwaukee police. The car was towed and owner notified.
  • Police warned two college students Tuesday for climbing on the decorative façade at 3970 N. Oakland Ave. The students told police they were trying to get a good photo of the building.
  • A $10 small garden gnome was reported stolen Tuesday from the front yard of home in the 3700 block of North Morris Boulevard.
  • A Shorewood woman told police Wednesday hundreds of dollars worth of fraudulent purchases were racked up on her Capitol One Master Card credit card. She suspects a family member took the credit card, police say.
