Police Report: Shorewood Teen Arrested after Assaulting Girl, Looking Through Her Phone
A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

A 18-year-old Shorewood man was arrested Friday for disorderly conduct after police say he pushed a girl to the ground in the parking lot, 1701 E. Capitol Dr., and held her down while he looked through her cell phone.
The incident occurred about noon and the victim wasn’t injured. Police say the suspect was the girl’s ex-boyfriend.

- More than $600 worth of items were reported stolen from a unlocked locker inside the Shorewood High School girls locker room. The theft occurred sometime between 3:30 and 4:15 p.m. The items reported stolen include a coat, cell phone and 8GB iPod Touch.
- Nothing was taken when a garage in the 4300 block North Murray Avenue was forcibly entered through a service door on Sunday. There was about $150 worth of damage to the door, however. The illegal entry occurred sometime between 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
- Â A residential exterior water pipe in the 4100 block of North Bartlett Avenue burst on Sunday at about 3:38 p.m., spraying water into the roadway. The water was turned off inside the home and police advised the resident to consult a plumber.
