Shorewood Artists Guild Plans 'Art At The Atrium' Show

The Shorewood Artists Guild plans to present "Art at the Atrium" on Nov. 11.

SHOREWOOD, WI β€” A night full of art is set to return to The Atrium on Capitol Drive this November as part of a gallery show from the Shorewood Artists Guild.

The Guild plans to present work from member artists at 2107 E. Capitol Drive on Nov. 11 as part of its event, "Art at the Atrium," according to a newsletter from the Village. The free event will be open to the public. Attendees will be able to meet the artists and buy work directly from them during the event, the Village's newsletter said.

A food truck from The Graze Outdoors will be stationed outside and drinks will be available as well, according to the newsletter. Fifteen percent of the proceeds from all sales will go to benefit scholarships for Shorewood High School AP Art students, the newsletter said.

The Shorewood Artists guild is a local organization with members ranging from artists to crafters and creatives. According to its website, the guild seeks to foster interaction between artists, share knowledge, provide artistic support, educate others, exhibit member work and advocate for the arts.

More than 20 artists with work are displayed on the Guild's website. Samples of their work on the Guild's website show members' wide range of artistic endeavors. Painting, photography, sculptures and more are all featured prominently on the site.
