Shorewood Forum to Focus on Teen Suicide Prevention
Mental health professionals will lead a discussion focusing the mental health of young people.

As the new school year draws near, Shorewood school officials want to ensure that parents are aware of the warning signs of suicidal tendencies before their kids return to the classroom
The Shorewood School District on Monday is hosting a community and parent forum focusing on youth mental health, youth suicide and the impact of social media on young people. The forum is adults only.
The forum will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the lower level meeting room of Shorewood Public Library, and will include a presentation by a panel of experts from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee County Mobile Urgent Treatment Team, followed by a discussion.
