Shorewood Recruiting For Design Review Board

Village officials said they will be looking for applicants with a diversity in profession, gender and ethnicity.

SHOREWOOD, WI—The Village of Shorewood is seeking applicants to volunteer to serve on the Design Review Board.

Village officials said they will be looking for applicants with a diversity in profession, gender and ethnicity and specifically a landscape architect, contractor or urban planner.

The Design Review Board examines all plans and designs for new buildings, facade improvements, building additions, commercial signs and patios in the front yard for compliance with Village Code for approval.

Meetings are normally held at the Village Hall at 5 p.m. the second and fourth Thursdays of each month (January – October) and first and third Thursdays of each month (November and December). Meetings are currently being held virtually.
