Shorewood School District Seeks More Substitute Teachers
The Shorewood School District is seeking more people to be substitute teachers amid a statewide shortage.

SHOREWOOD, WI β The Shorewood School District is in need of substitute teachers, it announced via Facebook on Tuesday, and almost anyone can help.
The substitute teacher shortage is not exclusive to Shorewood. Schools across Wisconsin have been dealing with shortages for months, such as in Greendale, where schools had to convert to virtual learning last week because too many teachers were isolating or quarantining because of positive COVID-19 tests.
In Milwaukee Public Schools, the largest district in Wisconsin, almost 300 classrooms are without a regular teacher, and the coronavirus pandemic has only made the problem worse across Wisconsin, USA TODAY reported.
