— The Flood Brothers, showcasing its contemporary oldies, blended electric tunes, with sea level piano and vocals, will play , 3565 N. Morris Blvd., Wednesday night at 6 as part of .

The series includes local bands every Wednesday until Aug. 29 — from jazz to blues, Irish to country, and every musical style in-between.

Assorted food and beverages will be sold; no carry-in alcohol is allowed.

— Local artist Theodore Friedman will be on hand at , 4414 N. Oakland Ave., on Saturday to discuss his work, which includes photography, paintings and sculpture and will be on display in the bank. The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon.
