Brunch And Fish Fry Canceled At Hubbard Park Lodge This Weekend
The Lodge canceled service for one weekend after power outages.
SHOREWOOD, WI — The Hubbard Park Lodge was without power into Friday morning. The loss of power started after thunderstorms Tuesday night, and has continued into its third day.
Because of the continued outage, service for Sunday brunch and Friday night's fish fry has been cancelled, the lodge announced on Facebook.
"We still have yet to have our power restored and do not foresee being open for any dining this weekend," the lodge said Friday morning. "We are very sorry and look forward to seeing you all next week!"

The outages and weather prompted the cancellation of this week's Shorewood Summer Sounds concert on Wednesday. The beer garden has been closed as well.
Hubbard Park Lodge was not the only spot that has experienced a continued outage. Thousands of Wisconsinites were without power after severe storms on Tuesday. Traffic lights across the county and Shorewood have been non-functioning, trees have fallen into homes and cars and many were without power for a prolonged period.
