Support Shorewood, Attend the Foundation Dinner Nov. 19

Join your neighbors at this community event with proceeds going toward Shorewood events like the 4th of July Fireworks display.

Join the Shorewood Foundation for its annual dinner Nov. 19 at the , and give back to the community.

The price for the dinner is $100 per person, but all proceeds go to the Foundation to support the several local events it hosts every year.

Cocktails and a silent auction start at 6 p.m. with dinner following at 7.

The event includes gourmet dinners at a substantially discounted price, and Foundation Board members have historically purchased the wine for the dinner.

Those who attend the annual Shorewood Foundation Dinner at 3565 N. Morris Blvd. readily attest to the fact that this is a delightful and wonderful evening.

The Foundation supports many of the good things that happen in Shorewood, including improvements for the Shorewood schools, the annual Ten Gardens Tour and other Shorewood beautification and improvement efforts, the Public Art Project (2009's "Butterflies in Flight" and 2010's "Best Seats in the House"/Decorated Bench program), and last but certainly not least, the annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration at Atwater Park.
