Two Cars and a Home Entered

Two cars and a home were entered last week in Shorewood.

Two auto entries

• A Marc Jacobs purse containing Chanel perfume, $100 in singles and several credit cards was stolen from an unlocked car in the 2500 block of Marion Street between 10 p.m. on Aug. 27 and 6:20 a.m. on Aug. 28.

• A man attempted to enter the open window of a car parked in the 4500 block of Oakland Avenue at 10:45 a.m. on Aug. 29. He was scared off by a witness and fled on his bicycle before police arrived.

• An iPad and a briefcase containing a laptop, two checkbooks and other paperwork were stolen from an unlocked house in the 4300 block of Alpine Avenue sometime between 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 27 and 5 a.m. on Aug. 28.

• An iPod Nano was stolen from Atwater Elementary School sometime between 12 p.m. on June 17 and 3 p.m. on Aug. 27.

• An unlocked Trek bike valued at $150 was stolen from the rack at Shorewood High School between 10:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Aug. 27.
