Two Homes Entered in Shorewood Last Week
In each case the residents were home but did not get a look at the intruders.

A burglary and an attempted burglaryΒ were reported in Shorewood last week.
On Saturday, an unknown person entered a home in the 1300 block of Pinedale Court through an unlocked front screen door while the homeowner was inside. The resident reported a black laptop and power cord valued at $800 was stolen from the dining room table.
Two unknown men entered an occupied apartment in the 1900 block of Capitol Drive around 5:10 p.m. on Aug. 8. The female resident was inside watching television when she heard the hallway closet door open. She called out "Hello," and found the lower half of her bedroom window open.Β

Nothing appeared to be stolen. The resident looked out her window andΒ saw her apartment manager, who said he saw two men walking away from the building,Β westbound down Capitol Drive.
