Upset about parking? Be heard!

Shorewood created the North Oakland Parking District in 1981 deeming it “necessary and expedient to protect the best interests of its residents.” The Parking District is more than 300 parking spaces below what Village code requires.* And now, the Village has sold the public lot at 4450 North Oakland further reducing available parking spaces.

This public meeting is organized by Affordable Shorewood. Those living in the Parking District will be given priority to speak. Other residents may speak afterwards. The comments gathered at the meeting will be presented to Village Trustees.
