Nature Preserve And Roads Seeing Construction Next Week
The Village Nature Preserve will be closed Monday. Some village streets are also getting work. Parking on certain streets will be impacted.

SHOREWOOD, WI β Shorewood's Nature Preserve, the trail that runs down to the lake just south of Atwater, will be closed Monday. Various streets in the Village will also see minor construction next week.
Work will begin Monday and is projected to take only one day at the Nature Preserve. The Village DPW will be clearing out dead, storm-damaged and fallen trees. Declining ash trees will also be culled from the land, according to the Village weekly newsletter.
Also next week: Construction begins for patching and tarring various side streets in the village. The work will not close streets, but parking restrictions along certain roads will come. Street signs for no parking will be posted the day before work begins, the newsletter said.
