On March 10, the Village's Design Review Board (DRB) is scheduled to review revised plans for Three Leaf Partner's proposed multi-family redevelopment at the northwest corner of E Capitol Dr and N Stowell Ave. DRB reviewed initial plans and received public comment at their January 27 meeting. Consideration of those plans was held over, so that the plans could be modified. Within their jurisdiction, DRB will reference the Village's Central District Master Plan Design Guidelines and the general design criteria established within the Village Code. Information on how to join the meeting, which will be convened virtually at 5:00 pm, is available within the Agenda Center.

The properties are zoned as B-3 Mixed Use Commercial District, which permits multi-family uses on all floors. The development, which would feature 39 one- and two-bedroom apartments would replace the existing single-family home on the corner, the commercial building occupied by SunSeekers by Rosie and the parking lots on either side, but not the private parking lot on the western end of the block.
