What's Up This Weekend?

The Shorewood Garden Tour, Alice in Wonderland and hazardous waste collection are happening this weekend.

If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, we have a couple fun ideas for you:

  • The annual Shorewood Garden Tour will visit seven exquisite Shorewood gardens on Saturday. Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the Garden Room, Shorewood Village Hall and at the tour garden on the day of the event.
  • Shorewood Recreation Department's Drama Junior group will perform Disney's "Alice in Wonderland Jr." at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, as well as 1:30 p.m. on Friday and Sunday at the Shorewood High School Auditorium. Tickets are $5 and are available through the Shorewood Recreation Department or at the door on the night of the show.
  • The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District will host a household hazardous waste collection event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Shorewood High School. MMSD will be collecting a variety of household items, including antifreeze, brake fluid, fertilizer, kerosene, oil-based paint, paint thinner, rat poison, and more.
  • Brady Street Days is held on Saturday, featuring food and craft vendors, a pro wrestling ring and three stages of musical entertainment from the likes of Trapper Schoepp & The Shades, Vic & Gab and the annual drag show.
