• Slinger Kiwanis Club tickets still available for annual gala fundraiser (gmtoday.com) — Tickets are still available for the Slinger Kiwanis Club’s Feb. 7 “Enchanted Garden Evening” gala in Hartford, which raises money for Slinger causes. This year’s event will support the Slinger Police Department’s youth programs and the Slinger Food Pantry, continuing a tradition of funding local scholarships, library services, parks, and other nonprofits.
   

• Friends of Slinger Dog Park receives donation from Piggly Wiggly charity event (gmtoday.com) — A recent $750 donation from Slinger’s Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly has pushed Friends of the Slinger Dog Park to nearly two-thirds of their $150,000 fundraising goal. The group hopes to break ground on the new park in spring or summer 2026 and is still seeking community donations through Slinger Village Hall and its online channels.
