1 Dead In Waukesha County Crash On I-94

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI—One person died after a crash early Thursday morning, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office. At 5:31 a.m., The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office and Pewaukee Fire Department responded for a crash involving two cars on 1-94 between Meadowbrook Road and Prospect Avenue, police said.

From the initial investigation, it appears a car operated by a 27-year-old man, struck the median barrier wall and was then hit by another car operated by a 23-year-old man, police said.

The 27- year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The 23-year-old was transported to a local hospital, police said. The severity of his injuries are not known.
