132 Animals From Texas Shelter Arrive At Waukesha Airport
Over 100 dogs and cats from a private shelter in Texas landed at Waukesha County Airport/Crites Field on Tuesday.

WAUKESHA, WI—Over 100 dogs and cats from a overcrowded private shelter in Texas landed at Waukesha County Airport/Crites Field on Tuesday.
The Wisconsin Humane Society counted 132 animals thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation, which supported the flight to Wisconsin.
WHS is working with additional shelters throughout the state in order to support the massive transport, according to WHS.

The 91 dogs and 41 cats will be split among the following campuses: Elmbrook Humane Society, Shawano County Humane Society, Marshfield Area Pet Shelter, Eau Claire County Humane Association - ECCHA, Humane Society of Jefferson County (WI), South Wood County Humane Society, Coulee Region Humane Society, Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, and Lakeshore Humane Society.
