• 32 Pacific Islander students were enrolled in districts in 2024-25 school year (waukeshatimes.com) — Waukesha County schools enrolled 32 Pacific Islander students in 2024–25, a 22% drop from last year and just 0.1% of the county’s 58,602 students. Elmbrook, Hamilton, and Waukesha school districts together reported the highest Pacific Islander enrollment, while countywide data highlight broader racial and ethnic enrollment patterns.
   

• FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County relocation given OK by Plan Commission (gmtoday.com) — Waukesha’s Plan Commission has recommended approval for The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County to move its warehouse and client operations to 1705 S. Prairie Ave., adding more space and parking. Neighbors raised concerns about traffic and overlap with Prairie Elementary dismissal, prompting conditions on client hours and operations as the project advances.
   

• Pirates dominate Waukesha South (gmtoday.com) — Pewaukee wrestling rolled past Waukesha South in a lopsided Woodland West Conference dual, winning 70-6 on Thursday. Waukesha South managed just one forfeit victory at 120 pounds as Pewaukee piled up pins, technical falls, and major decisions across nearly every weight class.
