19-Year-Old Woman Killed In I-94 Crash Near Village Of Summit

The driver and another 19-year-old man were both treated for injuries and released from a hospital.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI —A 19-year-old woman died after a two car crash involving a car and semi on I-94 near CTH BB in the Village of Summit before 12 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.

The initial investigation revealed the passenger car was traveling westbound on I-94 when the driver, a 19-year-old man, lost control and struck the back of a legally parked semi on the shoulder, the release said.

The 19-year-old woman was pronounced dead on scene. The driver and another 19-year-old man were both treated for injuries and released from a hospital. The semi driver was not injured, the release said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Village of Summit Police Department, Village of Oconomowoc Lake Police Department, and Western Lakes Fire Department responded to the crash.
