WAUKESHA, WI — Two accidents with injuries, a fight near a Waukesha Kwik trip, a scam letter and a neighbor complaining about chickens digging up a yard are included in logs from the Waukesha Police Department.

Minor Injury, House Damaged In Two Accidents

One person was injured after two cars collided near Summit Avenue and Greenmeadow Drive on Wednesday, police logs showed. Police said the person was bleeding from their arm, but it's not clear how severe their injuries were.

A car struck a house after a rear-end crash near S. Washington Avenue and Madison Street on Wednesday, police logs showed. No injuries were reported, but police said a sedan struck the back of a pickup truck while it was parked.

Fight Near Kwik Trip

Police responded to a call for three people fighting near the diesel fuel pumps at the Kwik Trip on 2001 Golf Road, police said. The people who were fighting said they got into an argument when one texted the other about getting cigarettes from inside the store.

Letter From 'Spain' Prompts Mail Scam Warning

A Waukesha man told police that he received a letter in the mail claiming that he won the lottery in Spain, police logs showed. The mailers asked for $2,000 to receive the winnings, but the man went to the police instead.

Chickens Tear Up Neighbor's Yard

A caller told police his yard and plants were torn up by their neighbor's chickens, police logs showed. When police arrived, they found the yard dug up by clawed feet and all the chickens sitting inside a coop.

Police talked with the owner of the chickens and told them about the mess. The owner told police they would attend their flock closely in the future.
