Man, 22, Dies In Farming Accident In Waukesha County

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI— A 22-year-old employee at Cozy Nook Farm in Waukesha County died Sunday morning in a farming accident.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office responded to the farm at S11 W30780 Highway 18 in the Town of Delafield. Christopher Schuett died at the scene. The circumstances of the accident are unclear and the incident remains under investigation, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.

Cozy Nook Farm is primarily a working dairy farm.

Patch reached out to Cozy Nook Farm, and the Schuett family but haven't heard back as of Thursday morning.

Schuett worked at Cozy Nook Farm and "absolutely loved his job there," according to his obituary.

"In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sports, especially the Packers," his obituary said.

Chris is survived by his parents; his siblings Ashley and Kaitlin; his grandparents; aunts and uncles; as well as many other family and friends.

"A special thank you to LeDonna Farms for treating Chris like their own for many years until Cozy Nook Farms became his family," the obituary said.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 1 -3 p.m. Friday at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave.
