24-Year-Old Stabbed After altercation In Waukesha, Police Say

WAUKESHA, WI— A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the chest on Tuesday night in the 300 block of East Main Street.

Waukesha Police Department Capt. Dan Baumann said police were made aware of the man while he was in the process of seeking medical treatment.

The investigation revealed that a 38-year-old man got into an altercation with the 24-year-old man. The older man stabbed him with a pocket knife in the chest.

"Both the suspect and victim lied to police throughout the investigation which delayed the investigation. The suspect has not been charged yet as we are still working on vetting and verifying the facts of this case, Baumann told Patch.
