Pilot Killed In Waukesha County Plane Crash: Sheriff
A 61-year-old pilot died Saturday in the Town of Lisbon.

WAUKESHA COUNTY— A 61-year-old pilot died after a plane crash in the Town of Lisbon on Saturday, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.
"We would like to thank the citizens who assisted in providing life saving measures at the crash scene. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the victim’s family during this difficult time," the sheriff's office said.
A single-seat ultralight aircraft crash was reported at 5 p.m. at Songbird Hills Golf Club on Highway 164, the sheriff’s office said. The pilot was transported by flight for life to a hospital.

The crash is being investigated by the sheriff’s office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
This is the second plane crash in Waukesha County within two weeks.

Two people died on oct. 12 after a Glastar plane crashed in the Village of Waukesha. The airplane was located in a wooded area south of Redwing Drive.
