Here are five nonprofit groups you should know about in the Waukesha area:

2. Habitat for Humanity Waukesha: With a goal of providing affordable housing to all in Waukesha County, Habitat for Humanity offers volunteer chances to help build homes and accepts donations.

3. Waukesha County Community Foundation: Formed in 1999, the WCCF has an overarching goal of supporting non-profits across Waukesha County through a pool of funds that is used to provide grants. The organization now has a database of different community funds with a variety of goals.
