Overall, 58,602 students attended county districts, where American Indian students made up 0.2% of enrollment, one of the smallest represented ethnic groups locally.
   

• Three men from Chile accused in string of burglaries across Wisconsin (jsonline.com) — Waukesha County prosecutors have charged three men from Chile in connection with a burglary in Delafield and burglary tools found in Mukwonago, with the suspects now held in Waukesha County Jail. Investigators are examining possible links to similar high-end home burglaries across Wisconsin and Minnesota, while the men await a Dec. 17 court appearance on local charges.
   

• Drone pilot works to find lost Wisconsin pets (news8000.com) — Pet owners in Waukesha County may be reassured to know a Wisconsin drone pilot now helps find missing animals, working with groups like Southern Waukesha County Canine Search and Rescue. After losing his own dog, he built a fleet of high-tech drones and now teams with statewide Facebook groups to track down lost dogs, cats, and even tortoises, often at little or no cost to families.
