7 Sites In Waukesha Will Shut Off Lights For Stargazing
The City of Waukesha will hold "Waukesha Starry Night" from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday.
WAUKESHA, WI— Jupiter and Saturn will dance in a planetary conjunction, lining up perfectly to create the illusion of a "Christmas star."
The two bright planets have been visible in the evening sky for the past several nights as they move closer together, culminating on the night of Dec. 21, the winter solstice.
The City of Waukesha is holding "Waukesha Starry Night" from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday.

The seven sites below will have the lights shut off for one hour to allow for stargazing, according to the city.

- Saratoga Athletic Complex (301 S. Prairie Ave.)
- River's Crossing (3703 Rivers Crossing Drive).
