73-Year-Old Pedestrian Hospitalized After Crash In Waukesha: Police
A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Waukesha, police said.
WAUKESHA, WI — A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when a vehicle struck him around 5 p.m. Wednesday near St. Paul and Fairview Avenues, according to police.
The 73-year-old man was crossing the street after he left a business when he was struck, according to a police news release. The vehicle had been driving west on St. Paul Avenue. Waukesha firefighters and police provided lifesaving measures to the man and brought him to Waukesha Memorial Hospital, according to police.
No other injuries were reported in the crash, which sparked a closure in the area for some time, police said.
