Incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Allen faced off against Democrat Aaron Perry.
WAUKESHA, WI— Rep. Scott Allen is the projected winner for state Assembly District 97. He was in a political race with Aaron Perry.
Perry: 12,770
Allen: 18,555

Voting amounts are according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. As of 8:27 a.m. Nov. 4 the race wasn't called.
Incumbent Rep. Scott Allen has been a legislator since 2015 and was also a former alderman. His campaign spoke on recovering from the pandemic. He said it was vital people continue to have a voice in how the government responds to the ongoing pandemic.

"Statewide mandates as a means to combat local outbreaks are simply killing our economy. We can address local outbreaks with local mandates and keep the rest of our economy running. It isn't rocket science," Allen said.
Other important issues to Allen include: Education, Protecting rights and freedoms and keeping Wisconsin competitive nationally.
Aaron D. Perry, a Waukesha resident has spent the last seven years a Waukesha alderman. In his time on the Common Council, Perry said he has spearhead, and passed, multiple initiatives and ordinances.
