Singer/Songwriter, Becca Richter, is making headlines again after being named the Season 4 Teen YobiSing grand prize winner, a national talent contest for aspiring musicians.
Hundreds of songs were submitted and Becca’s original song, Favorite Place, made it through four levels of finals, earning her first place and $1,000. Becca was interviewed by the producers of YobiTV and her interview can be seen at http://yobi.tv/yobising/

Becca plans to use the prize money for college; she will be attending the University of Mobile Alabama in the fall. This is her second big award from YobiTV as her original song, Honey Bee was the May contest winner in 2011 and was featured in an Audrinna Patridge webseries on YobiTV.
In addition, Becca is in the running for Video of the Year on Teenage Rockstar and may be traveling to Austria if she wins at the conclusion of the contest on March 11. Becca is currently in discussions about performing at Summerfest through her affiliation with WAMI and is looking forward to playing the lead role of Ariel in Waukesha North’s musical production, Footloose, which is scheduled for May 3-6.
This summer, she will begin recording her second album in Nashville. Becca was recently the Featured Artist of the Week for WGTD 91.1FM Noon Tunes and is a regular performer at in Waukesha. For more information, please visit http://beccarichter.com/
