Clues for Cash During Waukesha Reads Benefits Literacy Council

Purchase a game board at either Martha Merrell's or The Steaming Cup for a minimum $1 donation between now and Oct. 31.

Ten downtown businesses will be posting clues in their stores and the clues eventually can be used at the display window in the Five Points to solve the mystery. Play can be completed over several days or just a few hours. The game is fun for tweens, teens, and adults. Those who successfully solve the clues will be eligible to win a cash prize. 

Proceeds will benefit the Literacy Council of Greater Waukesha.  Each year more than 250 students walk through the doors and meet weekly with their volunteer tutors making meaningful changes in their every day lives.
