Highway 18 Construction Begins Next Week

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is announcing that work will begin next week on the reconstruction of St. Paul and East North avenues (US 18) in the City of Waukesha.

The work on US 18 will include concrete milling, grading, new concrete and pavement, base patching, storm sewer, traffic signals and lighting.

The roadway will remain open to traffic throughout construction, with single lane closures when necessary. Parking on St. Paul Avenue is not permitted during construction.

The contractor, Payne and Dolan, will finish the $4.2 million project by mid-November, weather permitting.
